Alison is a writer, editor and creative thinker.
She’s covered areas like art and fashion, charity and cars, beauty and lifestyle.
She started out interning at glossy film, lifestyle and women’s magazines. Titles included Empire, Eve, Baby & You, iCircle (fashion and beauty section) and Executive Woman.
Her first full-time job was as a layout sub-editor for communications agency, AB. She helped create award-winning work for clients like Rolls-Royce, House of Fraser, Hallmark and London Underground.
Since then, she’s worked on magazines including Artists & Illustrators, Local Government News, Motor Sport and Loot London Car and Motorbike magazine. She was also a senior copywriter for the AA.
Since going freelance, she’s taken on copywriting, editing and proofreading jobs for clients including Yolk Publishing, Marie Curie and GambleAware.
When she’s not writing or editing, she loves watching 80s movies and trying out new restaurants.
